We were all warned in the USA about this remarkable storm coming with the ice, cold, snow, terrible driving, cancelled flights that would affect 200 million people in its path.

We were told that getting some extra food and water would be a good idea. Maybe a blanket or two and some extra gas for the car or generator.

Now we know what we did not know…that the suggestions were excellent and next time (dear God I hope there is not another storm like this one) we WILL make a list, check it twice, get the stuff we need (not the night before) and settle in for what Mother Nature has decided would be a major gut punching, cold and miserable ice and snow storm.
