Time Management – Really?

January 7, 2026

Early in my career I read all of the time management books. There are a plethora of people who now blog on it; help us organize our messes so we have more time; there are written and on line systems to input our timed needs and when they need to be done.

Really? May I suggest to you that only your know your issues and time struggles and potential issues. How? Well you have had these behaviors for a very long time. Just because it is the beginning of a new year, it does not mean you will gain more time. There is no more time in 24 hours. Your accountability and successes are based on your behavior on what is most important to you and HOW you are scheduling your performance for high value successes.

Start early this year to evaluate your behaviors around success and time. May I suggest a notebook and a nice warm beverage and find some privacy and list what worked and what did not work. I would venture to guess you will find most of your issues in these revelations. Then you can begin to manage your time.
