Leadership Errands

May 1, 2026

What is on your leadership to do list that you keep putting to one side or moving to the next day? You might want to also consider how they made it to your list to begin with.

Do you have a person who needs a short support text? Does the team need an update on the management meeting around their work with the new contract? How many performance reviews need your attention? Does the Norten contract liaison deserve a kudo for providing the latest data? How many times have you said “tomorrow” when today is really the day for the task/errand/conversation/test.

So put together your Leadership Errands list and get these things done. You will feel so good once it is completed. If you really need a reminder of your delays of getting things done, review your last 17 business days of items that got moved and then moved again. Remember, you will feel exceedingly grown up and leaderlike when the errands are complete. This I know from first hand experience and coaching the amazing people who also have their own lists.
