The custom growing up was to wear something green to acknowledge the day. Some people go all the way and wear everything green. Otherwise you were allowed to pinch someone not wearing green??

St. Patrick was a good guy. St. Patrick was not actually Irish! He was born in Britain, but taken to Ireland as a slave when he was a teenager. After escaping, he felt a special call to return to Ireland and share stories about God. He is famous for helping people understand the Trinity by using a three-leaf shamrock and is now honored as the helper of Ireland on March 17th.

With all these storms and chaotic energy in our world, we deserve a holiday to celebrate, whether we are Irish or not. I wish you well.
