Gratitude, Me, Myself And I
September 24, 2026
Being in the presence of gratitude is powerful. “Oh for heavens sakes Natalie, the world is a mess, what is there to be grateful for?” I am so pleased you asked.
If you are truly feeling that you have nothing to be grateful for, please let me share with you: puppies that get adopted after a year in an animal shelter; having a plumber find the leak and restore the water pressure so the toilet flushes perfectly; finding an inexpensive alternative to the $7.94 bag of chips; your 8.5 year old grandkid who caught the ball during her softball game and remembered where to throw it; listening to “them”, the music, the birds, the WebbTelescope’s sounds from space; a thank you wave for letting someone into your lane of traffic.
Gratitude can be huge like getting that perfect position with a company that is going to pay you well. OR it can be simple like a deep breath after clicking the key to send the report that is on time and well done. Choose to recognize what you can be grateful for…there are dozens of items if we allow ourselves the moments to be present to our lives. Try it!!!
