In watching the weather news these last 2 weeks, it feels like we are paying for not being very cold for some time. My family, neighbors and clients all know that when my socks go on, the weather is cold.

Something to think about: the wind, snow, sleet and freezing rain have been doing a number on the roads with accidents and LONG delays. How about a blanket or two in your car; a big jug of water; some snacks and maybe even some boots. Certainly consider a bag of cat litter to put under stuck tires; some jumper cables, solar pad to fill your phone battery and maybe some writing paper to capture your thoughts while you wait in the snow/sleet/accidents/freezing rain.

A new habit of mine for the past year has been to never let my gas tank go below ½ a tank. That has served me well. I just want you safe. It is time to consider what you need and would work best for you if you need to be on the road and thinking about staying warm. Do share your ideas and actions with your staff and family so they can be safe too.
