Daily Personal Habits For Your Effective Leadership Style

Getting up on the wrong side of the bed because you stayed up too late can easily cascade into how you operate that day and how you interact with your colleagues and team.

When I ask my leadership clients to discuss their personal habits with me, they would rather not. How come? Because some of them are just out of sync with where they want to be with their entrenched habits. It could be food, personal relationships, sleep, alcohol, nasty time on social media etc. The discussion can be tough, but recognizing what is not working and that you are in full control of that not working, is so powerful.

Lately, many of the discussions are around food. Too much; wrong time of day; expensive; no nutrition; in a hurry etc. Picking one day a week of great food habits is enough for you to begin to shift how you feed yourself. DO NOT take on every meal and every day to begin your habit change. Be smart. Be aware. Be fair to you. One day a week of great food will inspire you to feed that marvelous thing, called your body, better!
