New year opportunities or just pressure??

Already I am seeing articles about people not following or completing their “new years resolutions”. People, back off with the criticism. We are hyper critical about what we are allowed to do and how we are supposed to be doing “things”. Judging success a few days into a new year is probably not a good beginning.

If you are working on something that has bothered you for a period of time by not doing it, then give yourself some time to shift into the “doing it right” scenario. Stopping a habit that does not serve you (and never has) takes awareness and a kind attitude. Be good to yourself. Encourage you. Find some compassion for the urge to eat MORE ice cream; smoke that cigarette; avoid that “jerk” on your team; righteous judgment about nothing that is your business.

Breathe. Stop the thought. Find a mirror and say something really nice to you. Like “you noticed and you took action and I am proud of you”. Perfection is for the high ranking angels.

May I help?
