Thanksgiving Even In Tough Times

Thanksgiving Even In Tough Times

They say that being grateful and thankful are some of our most powerful and positive emotions. They can sustain us and create an immediate space of peace…grateful for whatever it is that you have to be grateful for: breathing; a roof over your head; gas in your car; bacon and eggs; someone who cares about you; a great boss; a partner that shows up; children who call; moments when you do remember where your keys are…

The holiday of Thanksgiving sometimes creates a huge struggle for us to get to where we most want to be. 55 million in the USA alone, flying and driving to a destination that will serve lovely food and Aunt Mary’s horrible gravy…but we need and want to be there anyway.

Happy Thanksgiving. I get to be with my kids and grandkids. I have my neighbor Ella guarding and feeding my animals, the chickens and bunnies. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving whether it is with all of those special people, or just you relaxing with a cup of something and a terrific book.

May I help?
