What happens when you take a deep breath and are grateful??

When we feel grateful, our breathing changes. It slows down so we can “feel” the gratitude. So what makes you grateful? What needs to happen in order for you to allow gratitude to flood your body with endorphins?

Top 5: A compliment from a trusted source; body language that tells us we are doing well; short text from the boss that says the report was terrific; your grands running toward you when you arrive at their house; the porch has enough overhang to keep your feet dry during a rousing thunder and lightening storm.

You are surrounded with moments that the adult in you needs to acknowledge as positive gratitude producing. Take a deep breath and look around and see what they are…right now.
