Employee Retention Starts At Onboarding

In my coaching, my clients many times consider leaving their current organizations for a multiple of reasons. Money. Support. Benefits. Promotions. Ability to really contribute to the organization.

You do not have to leave the organization to get this kind of attention and care. Take care of your employees (and you) and ask for what you need. The number one reason people are leaving their current job is “dissatisfaction”. If you, as a leader are feeling dissatisfied, then they probably are too…find out what is most important to them. ASK them.

Get the opinion of people who are important to you and the success of the organization…build a relationship and share the glory with them. Make a list of what you want and I can guarantee that “they” want those same things too.
