So many messages and they don’t all make sense.

So many messages and they don’t all make sense.

Some examples of mixed messages and what could be accurate is the way we feel we need to respond to the pandemic. Please understand, the reason for my bringing this up is not to begin a political conversation, but to remind you that mixed messages with no “logical” conclusion do not sit well with us especially since we are surrounded with the stress that “we better get this right” requirement.

Mixed messages are just that. No sense. No conclusion. No direction. No stress reduction. They just are not making sense to us. We are here either reacting to the chaos that surrounds us or feeling like we are not doing enough to solve what is creating the chaos.

As with all of our lives, it takes a special strength to: stop, breathe, evaluate and decide. What is most important to you this moment in time? Make a list and then commit to doing it. You are allowed and encouraged to be in a place where you understand you and then take steps to take care of you and what is most important to you.
