How are you celebrating you during this amazing season of gratitude and gifts?

Stress keeps us from recognizing that we, us, the one and only, is really the most important person in our lives. No, others are not second, but you are first in care, nutrition, tender moments, forgiving and deep breathing. Have you treated you to being first lately??

If you only remind yourself periodically that you are important, than now is the time to do that. How are you going to celebrate you? It does not have to be a mind-blowing, ear bleed level of music and food. It can be a very sweet moment of breathing deeply. Many of us have forgotten how important our breath is to us for just “getting through” the moments. You can also use your device to remind you by setting some anxiety reducing reminders.

Find something that is highly recognizable that pleases you and then spend a moment with it. Mine, this past weekend, was finding a dandelion in full bloom in my driveway on December 5th. A HUGE reminder that anything is possible. I took a picture of this delighted, screaming yellow, in the middle of my driveway flower to save for me for my moments of needing something that absolutely proves anything is possible, including deep breaths and gratitude.
