How good it is to know you are not alone in your feelings and thoughts…

The human brain is a tough cookie and does not forget to remind us of the “awful” things that might happen. Research has revealed that we have 60,000 thoughts a day and most of them are negative.

LIKE: I am not good enough. Should have done better in that presentation. My boss will never approve of my project. Too thin…too fat. Never ever enough exercise. Finding fault with your body; thinking; writing; leading; etc.

Dan Harris has been the GMA weekend host for 21 years and will be leaving to spend time on his own company that teaches meditation and stress relieving techniques. In the interview/conversation he had with Anderson Cooper (60 minutes host) they discussed how self-critical they are of themselves and how they have to remind themselves that they are enough. Apparently fame, talent and money do not protect us from being self-critical. They both highly recommended forgiving themselves; being present and being in the moment breathing in all that one can be grateful for…
