How can you feel better easily and quickly?

How can you feel better easily and quickly?

If you have ever watched a baby or a kitten/puppy sleep, you know the comfort and serenity of sleep. They are relaxed, safe and give fully over to the sleep they need. Rest is the same way. Taking a rest – maybe even a nap – can help you feel better immediately. You can teach yourself to be refreshed in just 20 minutes of sleep during the day. Although, a nice long afternoon hammock nap is also so inviting especially in this good weather we are experiencing.

Taking a break from negative thoughts; high anxiety; restless actions; social media; news cycles all day long can be immediately soothing. How about instituting a morning routine of waking up to some lovely music or a meditation by a trusted source? And don’t forget your breath…3 deep breaths in a row helps your body understand that you are ok and not having to run from the large scary thing that keeps stressing you.

My family spent some time together on this last Memorial weekend and the day ended for my grands with softly sung songs. They fell asleep easily, safely, lovingly and with great satisfaction from the tired mommies and daddies and this gramma. Music, breathing, taking a break – they all work and you deserve to feel better quickly and easily.
