What are your habits for helping you develop your confident self?

An extremely good way to develop your confident self is to find someone you consider to be the model of how you want to be. If it is someone close to you, watch their body language and listen to how they speak and watch how they move. One of the most immediate ways of producing a confident self is the Superman (superwomen) stance. Stand up tall. Legs slightly apart. Shoulders back. Head up. When you really want some confidence, add hands on your hips for emphasis.

Little kids find a towel or scarf and tie it around their neck. They stand tall and then take off as if flying. As they pretend to be that super hero, they become the super hero. The voice changes; the sky is not a limit; speaking out loud about their adventure; demonstrating strong and confident moves.

You can do this. Find a mirror and unfold the confident body stance and how “super hero” you can get yourself to look and be. Then feel the shift and change in your energy and body. I learned this from Tony Robbins years ago…I’ve used it several times during negotiations and/or times I needed that extra boost of what is possible. IT REALLY WORKS.
