What do you do for your deep disappointments?
If you look up the word disappointment in the dictionary, it says: “sadness or displeasure caused by the nonfulfillment of one’s hopes or expectations”. Well of course.
The news and social media constantly feed the fire of what is not working and who is a jerk. We don’t need that kind of input when we might be struggling with something that feels like disappointment. Even a stiff upper lip does not flatten the feeling of “damn it”, I did not want that to happen.
Find a spot just for you; a lovely hot or cold drink; continuous but slow deep breathing and using your imagination to get you to another jumping off point of feeling great. It is possible. Good luck. I hope your sadness and displeasure are gone very soon.
