How do we deal with negative emotions and circumstances right now?

How many of you are in total irritation about “something” that probably never bothered you before? Becoming hypersensitive to your attitude and reactions does not serve you if none of them are positive.

The world, your world, my world, your family’s world, is shifting and changing at a pace we’ve never experienced before. There are so many aspects of our lives that would just happen on a daily basis, we did not have to think about them until now. We just got up and moved through our days. Now many of us have to do some deep breathing before each zoom meeting; grocery shopping trip; family discussion et al’ so we have the ability to move through the activity without lashing out.

We are exhausted, annoyed and begging to go back to the “old” normal. A better strategy would be to see what is making you so annoyed (maybe even make a list) and begin there. Look at your list. Find out what you can control or want to control, and start your new normal. I believe you will find that you are much better off knowing, really knowing, what is working for you and what is not.
