What different perspective do you need to “get” to gratefulness?

When we view our life and circumstances from the same perspective, it is hard to “get” what is really good about our lives. We begin to believe and be affected by all the negative thoughts and news…in a big big way.

Part of my coaching with my clients is to ask them to change their view of things by changing where they sit, wander, walk and how they use their technology. Patterns and habits can keep us stuck in what is happening from only a negative point of view.

Change your ways. Sit in a different place to read your emails. Exercise and breathe before the 10th zoom call. No news or social media for a couple of hours a day. Wear that silly Christmas sweater. Try to yodel a holiday song (had an executive team try to do this together on a zoom call and we had gales of laughter). Do something completely different and see if that gets you out of your own way.
