How are you really? “I am fine.” Really?

How are you really? “I am fine.” Really?

I remember asking my beloved one time how I looked in a dress. The answer was “fine”. Not a stellar confidence building resounding compliment or support.

Saying you are fine is an escape answer. It is like pushing away the question. Don’t be fine, be good. Don’t be ok, be happy; satisfied; hopeful; less stressed and in control.

The top recommendations from all the experts to feel better and feel more confident – better than fine – is to MOVE and BREATHE. Get up from your desk; put on your favorite dancing music (earbuds or not); deep breathing for 3 – 10 repetitions; find an inspiring story and read it often; create mantras and affirmations to support your positive self. Stress and cortisol are not your friends. You can begin your own “How are you really?” and turn it into “I am really good”. Find your good and do it again and again.

May I help?
