What is working the best for you right now?

I know sometimes we want to say nothing is working, but that is our stress speaking, not our facts and real results.

A lot of “things” are working well. You just need to take some breaths and make a list. When we don’t know what is working, we can be very negative. And you don’t need anything else to feel negative right now. I advocate for deep breathing, and doing it often, to help offset the negative. When your body feels cared for, stress and anxiety are less. Your body cooperates and feels better.

Breathing and writing a “what’s working list” will go a long way to helping you lessen your confusion; create clarity about next steps; allow you to respond rather than react with anger and will allow you to take charge during this time of not feeling especially in control of anything.
