What routines have you set up to serve you right now?

Positive routines and habits can save us from utter confusion and lack of completion. Without a toothbrush, your teeth will suffer. Without water, your body will die. Without some good nutritious food, your body will be hard-pressed to serve you well and with high energy.

As silly as it may sound, you might want to consider what is most important to you to form a routine and then write it down. The mirror in the bathroom is a great first place to post your list for the day. Yes, you have a device, but most of the people I know do not use it as well as they could. It can be a grocery list; an alarm to exercise at 10:00 am; a reminder about better agenda topics that are valued; a call to your partner to say hi and that you care; a note to your boss/colleague/subordinate that inspires them. A routine is something that pleases you, creates good performance, and allows you to feel good about your day when you tuck yourself into bed at night.

My weekly routine now includes handwritten cards because people love them – sometimes I even have them delivered via a messenger. So much fun!!!!!!
