How to keep errors down and clarity in communication working…
So much of all of our communication is written, that our habit of skimming texts and emails might not be serving us. I have seen an increase in miscommunication because we are all moving so quickly OR we see a word that catches our eye and make it mean something that is not even contained in the correspondence.
May I share with you my top goal for 2020 which I wrote in January? It has not changed. In fact, it is more important than ever now. I call it: Read It Again. When I am originating the communication, I now never send before I read it again. This is true in social media; texts; emails; proposals etc. My proofreading has improved, but my “catching” of the wrong information or incomplete information has gotten to the expert level. And there have been many catches because of the speed of working.
Communication needs to be even more accurate now because we put so much emphasis on the written word, whatever the format.

P.S. I invite you to download our newly developed “I am OK” video/audio. You are welcome to donate or download for free. It will help you sort out the feelings and to just feel good and be able to say “I am OK”.
