How are you doing with your performance, thoughts and goals?

So many of us are working from home that our “habits” are different and therefore, how we perform can be very different. Whether or not you consider your performance to be as good as you would like, have you considered the huge shift you have had to make in order to do what you do well?

Take into account, please, the shifting of the devices; where you sit and do your work; lighting; sound; privacy; support and the refrigerator calling you when you are stuck with something. I saw a joke the other day about the frequency of going to the fridge and it was hilarious, but true.

Change is hard. Shifting well into new circumstances that were not your choice, is even harder. Give yourself a break and breathe through that which might not be working as well as you would like and STOP criticizing yourself. Everyone says “this too will pass”, but it will not pass if you continue to be so critical when now, you need to be so gentle with you.
