What is working for you right now?

What is working for you right now?

The answer is not “nothing”. The answer could be that you are breathing, learning new skills, getting to know a world that is new to you, getting to know yourself, missing people that you thought did not like so much and figuring out what 3 months ago would have been an impossible story and probably a storyline from a new sci-fi video.

Make a list of what is working. Keep it with you. Read it often. You might even want to make a voice recording and listen to it several times a day. In speaking with my clients, they tell me that this new reality is hard, and also critically educational. They are finding out how judgmental they are and how they do not want to be that way. They are finding out their real talents and using them. They are realizing, yes they do want relationships, and what to do about them. On top of your “what is working” list could be the medical workers and being thankful for technology and how it is connecting us.

My number one recommendation to you is to use your device and set alarms 3-5 times a day to remind you of what is most important to you and to see how you are handling and/or contributing to those important pieces of your life that need and want attention…even you need your own (positive) attention. My alarms are set for the morning, afternoon and early evening. My recommended message to record is this: “Hi you terrific person you. You rock. I’ve always loved you, but never more than this moment. Thank you for caring. Remember to breathe hot stuff.” One of my clients actually told me “Ewww, I can’t do that”. But they did and now love the reminder. They have even timed messages for their kids, partners, friends and other family members.

May we help?

To your success,

P.S. I received much positive feedback from the last YouTube video and background music I shared. Here is another I especially like. Be safe, be well, find peace.
