How is it that everyone else is first – what about you?

How is it that everyone else is first – what about you?

There are a remarkable amount of people contributing massive help in these unsure times. Reading the stories inspires me, fills my heart with hope and provides moments of relief from this crushing “what’s next” situation called “our lives right now”.

But what about you right now? I spoke with a senior medical practitioner today, our first call together, and she could not continue the call because of her tears. Having time with someone like me (a safe place to feel and emote) allowed her to sob with relief after weeks of holding it all in. You can be brave, but don’t neglect that magical person, called you, that participates in life at 150% and then needs some relief also. Tears are natural. Punching the wall can be anger relieving and hard on your fist. Pacing and exercise can work to deescalate the anxiety and stress. Yelling really loudly feels great at the time (look up Primal screaming). But you’ve got to do it, and not wait until you have time.

My new client was afraid if she cried, she would never stop crying. I can guarantee you that once you honor what your body needs, you will feel better; things will seem more clear; sleep will come.

Allow me to offer my time to you. May I help? CoachNatalie@NatalieManor.com
