What do you need to keep saying to yourself to stay centered and calm?

We so get into our heads and when there, many times it is just a negative, chaotic mess of noise. It is hard to be positive these days or to even get to positive. So much going on around us that we feel we have no control over. Humans love control. Control helps us think we can determine the outcomes of most of what we do. So staying positive is feeling almost impossible right this moment and that can create anxiety and stress. So what to do?

What if you put together some very simple words, sayings, affirmations to remind yourself of what is possible in this impossible feeling world. I would like you to consider that breathing deeply and chatting with yourself in a positive way will go a long way to keeping your days from being hard and scary. One of my new favorite links is a 24/7 YouTube positive affirmations video. If this kind of support is not for you, then try a very simple: “I am OK and my thoughts help me be OK – I invite in the best for me and my world”. I would suggest writing it down – or whatever affirmation you choose – and saying it many times a day. I can honestly tell you that it really does help.
