What could possibility be wrong with being consistently 5 minutes late?
Well, if you want respect, trust and appreciation, you need to be on time. In fact, 5 minutes early is best. People don’t like others to be late and it does not feel good to them when they have to check their device to see what time it is…and you are late…again.
To the late ones, it is not big deal. “What can be so wrong with being 5 minutes late…again?” To the ones who are always on time, 5 minutes late consistently, makes them feel like you do not value them; their time; their importance and themselves. It really is as serious as that.
You have an opportunity to shift your late habits to on-time habits. It will require a new awareness that your habit of being late is just offensive to some. Maybe your best friend does not mind…however, I think if you ask, they are pretty tired of you being late too.
