Ever wonder why humans need deadlines and completion dates to stay on track??

It’s New Years Eve today and that is probably one of the most definite deadlines we face in our year. Probably our birthday is the next with the holidays close behind. We always know the new year date. December 31st can seem like a scary, intimidating “how come I did not…..?” or a refreshing “wow, I made it through this year, yay me”.

If you have lots of ideas and projects uncompleted for this year, then you might be feeling like you did not do well. But you could also take some time to see if you should have had these ideas and projects on your list to complete anyway. I think reviewing your “to do” list is a gift you can give yourself. If you have a project listed day after day to get done or started, either start it or cross it off. Moving it around dozens of times creates negativity you do not need ever.

Deadlines are here for us. Not to intimidate, but to guide us in our busy lives and in-our-head reactions. Not everything needs to be done now. But some things need to be respected, planned and then completed for your mental well-being. My question is – do you know which ones they are? If not, grab a keyboard or tablet of paper and decide – CHOOSE – how you want to spend your quality time.

HAPPY NEW YEAR.

May we help??
