What does it feel like to be confidently well prepared?

My very talented senior executive asked me that question on our coaching call this week? I was surprised because this gal is so committed to being well prepared and she has high confidence in her delivery of work. I asked her when the last time she felt confidently prepared to knock some socks off and fill everyone on a project with the thrill of completion and “well done”?

Silence. She told me she had not felt that way for a long time. Yes, she knew she was doing good work, but the buzz of it had worn thin. We often talk about nutrition and mindfulness during our calls and so I asked her how she is doing on both. Silence again.

Hello everyone, let me share with you the facts of life, real body and mind life. Your body can only operate for so long without you being mindful about caring for it. Not sporadically, but continually like a faithful friend. Mindful of your needs and fueling your body with concentrated, cell defining good nutrition and regular movement and sleep.

We reviewed her commitments and a week later she was better…in mind, body and spirit. Louise Hay says the longest relationship and closest relationship you will ever have is with yourself…make it a good one.

May we help??
