Why is the end of this year, or any year, so important that people keep yapping about it?

Why is the end of this year, or any year, so important that people keep yapping about it?

December 31st – the last day of 2019 – is significant because it is the last day. Projects, dreams, goals, outcomes, completion, all are ruled by a deadline and a date for getting it done, whatever it is.

Typically during this part of the year, we are supposed to be busy planning what our success producing goals are for the next year. The expectation is that we will review what did not work so well in 2019 and correct it with a brilliant strategy for 2020. Many are overwhelmed by what they did not get done or goals that did not even get touched, rather than excited by what they accomplished.

26 days until the end of this amazing year. How are you doing?
