Accountability is not a profit proving solution unless you apply the principles needed.

Accountability is not a profit proving solution unless you apply the principles needed.
Being held accountable can sound like a teenager being asked where they are going on Friday night. Who, what, where, when and why. Depending on who is “applying” the accountability principles – like the boss, executive VP or the owners – the idea of accounting for time, energy, money, resources are great ways to learn to create superb outcomes.
Superb outcomes produce money; performance validity; trust and respect; and nice promotions. Clients adore organizations/vendors that are accountable for time, money and completion.
Relationship are solid when accountable. Doing what you said you would in the time given and within budget totally creates self confidence and buzz about your amazing skills. Take the test. Be accountable for everything you say and do for 72 hours and see what is produced. You might also see how easily you have let your commitments slide. AND being accountable just feels good…like a pat on the back and knowing the commitments made are solid.
